Video, Education, and CADLearning
Since our inception, we have provided our CADLearning courses in video format due to video’s
advantages as an instructional medium, including dividing a course into small, easily
understood lessons and the ability to rewind and watch something again as often as needed.
With video as our primary learning delivery vehicle, it’s important for us to have technology
that’s easy for our customers to use, and that offers features to support learning anywhere,
anytime, on any device, for the widest audience.
After evaluating a number of modern video technologies earlier this year, we selected and
started upgrading our online learning systems (including customer web portals and Autodesk®
AutoCAD® and Revit® plugins) to the Kaltura video platform.
This upgrade lets us offer our customers features including closed captions, video playback on
nearly any browser and mobile and tablets, and adaptive playback quality that transparently
adjusts to the viewer’s band
