Abstract
The present study was designed to determine the prevalence of Post traumatic stress disorder
(PTSD) among flood affected school children in Pakistan.
The sample of the study was
comprised of 522 randomly selected students aged 10-16 years from five flood affected districts
of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa.
The instrument used in the study was The Impact of Event ScaleRevised (IES-R) to measure Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) among flood affected school
children in Pak
