describe Jordan Spieth’s historic rookie
season on the PGA Tour.
The 20-year-old from Dallas whom many
of you watched grow up in the pages of this
magazine, capped perhaps the best rookie
season in history by winning the PGA Tour’s
Rookie of the Year honor, representing the
U.S. in the Presidents Cup, becoming the
youngest winner on Tour in 81 years and
finishing 10th on the money list with more
than $3.8 million in earnings.
Yeah, that’s a pretty good start for someone who started the year as a 19-year-old
with no status on Tour and just hoping to
scratch out enough earnings to earn full-time
