Warwick
Board
of
School
Directors
is
composed
of
nine
elected
volunteer
community
members
who
have
accepted
the
responsibility
of
assessing
the
educa=onal
needs
of
the
community
and
work
as
a
team
in
providing
the
most
responsible
school
program
possible,
both
educa=onally
and
fiscally.
The
major
func=on
of
the
Board
of
School
Directors
is
to
frame
a
set
of
policies
that
defines
the
guidelines
for
opera=ng
the
schools
from
kindergarten
through
twelBh
grade.
Each
year,
these
members
reorganize
in
a
public
mee=ng
in
early
December,
selec=ng
and
elec=ng
officers
from
amongst
themselves
and
naming
commiFee
assignments
and
chairs.
