Institute Anti-racism Transformation Team Offers Workshops
The Mercy Institute Anti-Racism Transformation Team, (IARTT), was formed in December,
2009, to create processes for addressing institutional racism - a Critical Concern that has been
identified in each Institute Chapter since 1999.
The IARTT has undergone extensive training over the past two years with Crossroads AntiRacism Organizing and Training, an organization that provides a framework for institutions that are striving to
achieve anti-racist and anti-oppressive transformation.
As a way of beginning the next phase of their work, the
IARTT will present an introductory workshop to the Institute Leadership Conference later this month and also
at the Mercy Leadership Development Program in November.
