dangerous goods safely.
This rule came into effect from 27 June 2005.
Application of this rule depends on
• the type of dangerous goods need to be transported
• the quantity of dangerous goods
• Whether the transportation of dangerous goods is in a transport
service or for your own domestic or for recreational purpose
Dangerous Goods
If the transportation is through land, substances that have explosive,
flammable, toxic, infectious or corrosive properties and containers that have
seized dangerous goods are classified as dangerous goods.
Some common
examples for dangerous goods are fireworks, compressed air cylinders,
swimming pool chemicals, petrol, LPG and solvent-based paints.
The package containing dangerous goods are marked by some symbols.
These symbols are identified as dangerous by any person whether educated
or uneducated.
