Samsung’s second imaging product of the morning is the HMX-E10 camcorder, a point-and-shoot
model capable of Full HD video and packing a 270-degree swivelling lens.
The E10 shoots 1080p
30fps video and 8-megapixel stills, and as with similar pocket camcorders has a pop-out USB plug
that’s used for offloading content to your computer together with recharging the battery.
Control, meanwhile, is via a spattering of simple hardware buttons and a 2.
7-inch touchscreen display.
Plug it into your PC and up pops Samsung intelli-studio, a simple editing suite that also includes
uploading tools to get your new content off to YouTube or other media sharing sites.
Finally there are plenty of digital effects – including tilt-shift and Lomo – together with an HDMI port
and microSD card slot.
