President’s
Message
I once heard someone say that the end of anything can be bittersweet.
However, as I end my tenure as President of the Florida Reading Association, I can’t
think of anything bitter; for I will remain on the FRA Board just moving on to the
position of Past President, Chairperson of the Administrative Committee and one who
is in charge of protocol for our conference. So, I will continue to carry on the work of
our organization, just with different responsibilities.
Leading this organization is not without its challenges, but
is immensely rewarding. All volunteerism that is worthwhile
takes a commitment of time and energy, and such is the case
