Solution we developed for them AccessDirect can assign local or toll free hosted numbers that can be programmed in many customizable ways to fit the needs of almost any company. Working with Dawson, we programmed the “departments” as sales, customer service and tech support and made those options from the main greeting “find me” selections that transferred to 2 sequential numbers and then to voice mail if no one was available. Messages are then emailed to their personal email addresses so they get the messages in a timely manner. Then using a dial by name directory, the personal 3 digit extension numbers of the staff can be reached by name or by extension number. Toll Free Numbers Feel comfortable and keep the number you’ve had ‘forever’ with AccessDirect! Challenge: A man called AccessDirect who had two toll free numbers for the past twenty-five years. He had ‘taken them with him’ or moved/ported the numbers three times, and he was actually having them forwarded from his old phone company to his new phone company. He was already paying double for the numbers, but he didn’t want to get rid of them because every customer he’d ever had already knew the numbers, and they were heavily advertised. His bills were outrageous and he wanted to find a way to cut costs. Solution: We ported the numbers to the AccessDirect service so that the customer no longer had to pay for two phone companies to host his toll free numbers for him. Together, the numbers are less expensive than he was paying for one number with the other companies. He had five different employees who he wanted his clients to be able to reach. The problem was that each of the five employees worked during different times of the day. He wanted AccessDirect to set up an auto-attendant where each of the extensions could execute the call-transfer or ‘find me follow me’ feature only during the hours the person was working, and go directly to voicemail when the person was off. Our hosted PBX services allow management to log into their voice mailbox, from any phone, and record and send messages to groups. Once the message is sent to the distribution list, each voice mailbox would generate an email to the mailbox owner. So the sales rep in the field can instantly get the email and play the . wav file attachment of the boss’s message. Solution we developed for them With their employees in two different locations and both sharing the same voice mail hardware, they needed a hosted service that they could fail over to in case of emergency. We proposed a gateway solution that would be simple in structure yet seamless to the outside caller/customer. The big advantage is that the backup system would deliver their messages to their personal email addresses so they don’t have to be trained to retrieve messages from an unfamiliar system. The voice mailboxes would have one central number so everyone would have the same instructions for using the recovery services. The voice mailboxes could be programmed though the web interface to transfer to cell phones

Professional Auto Attendant Security Company’s business is growing and they need help with their phones! Challenge, type of company, why they called When the owner called us, he was in a quandary about how to handle calls that were keeping him up all night long. His business was growing after many years and he had always handled most of his calls, but it was now getting out of hand. Solution we developed for them He had been forwarding his main business number to his cell phone for years, during after hours. We put together a customized menu that allowed callers to transfer to the false alarm after hour’s customer service desk, or to the on call guard or to leave a message for billing and office staff. With these options in place, he no longer had to take care of false alarms that happened all hours of the night. What a relief it was to have a professional auto attendant that took care of calls and gave his callers a much better experience than being transferred to a cell phone.
