There was an old man in our town named Old Man Smith. Old Man Smith had a wonderful Gift. It wasn t a Christmas Gift like toys and games. It wasn t a Birthday Gift all stockings and handkerchiefs. It was the _Gift of Finding Things_! He called it "The Gift of the Probable Places. " Most any time when you lost anything he could find it for you. He didn t find it by floating a few tea-leaves in a cup. Or by trying to match cards. Or by fooling with silly things like ghosts. He didn t even find it with his legs. He found it with his head. Uma grande fatia da nossa sociedade é habitualmente guiada pelo mediatismo de algo (um produto) ou alguém “famoso” ,mediatismo esse que tem como principal fonte de alimentação a TV, a Internet, a rádio e os jornais/revistas, sendo que a Internet, desde o seu aparecimento, tem uma maior responsabilidade sobre esta revolução mediática, pois contém já muitas vezes os outros meios acima descritos. Para qualquer indivíduo integrado minimamente em sociedade, entrar nesta “surpreendente surpresa” que é a fama, faz-se de maneira extremamente simples e quase instantânea, basta para isso ter imaginação e coragem sem quaisquer inibições, fazendo a figura mais ridicula a que muitas se é obrigado a recorrer e depois esperar para ter um pouco de sorte para que ninguém ainda não o tenha feito e poder aparecer na primeira página dum jornal “”generalista”” num noticiário tel
